If you've ever thought of getting into doing match reviews and wondered if the talent sent feedback or complaints to the reviewers for rating a match too low, I can say it happens. I don't mind being blasted for negative reviews cause I'm heavy into political discussions and if I can handle that, I can handle being chewed out by a wrestler...as along as they don't get physical. *smirk* Let's take a look at the pile I've gathered this time:

Central States Wrestling out of Missouri

"Mr. Showtime" Darrien Sanders vs. Iceman vs. Thanatos

Pro Championship Wrestling out of California

Mr. Primetime vs. Sir Byron Rouge

World Championship Wrestling out of Georgia

Bill Goldberg vs. "The Cat" Ernest Miller
Bltizkrieg vs. Juventud Guerrera
Scott Hall vs. Kevin Nash
15-man Cruiserweight Battle Royal – Title Shot to the Winner

World Wrestling Federation out of Connecticut

Lita & Trish Stratus vs. Torrie Wilson & Stacy Keiber
The Rock vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs. Brock Lesnar

New videos from indy feds have been hard to find, but we got a new entry from the site http://www.mrwwrestling.com and this promotion is called Central States Wrestling out of Maryville, MO. This group does not have a connection to the old CSW that was NWA Central States Wrestling based out of Kansas City, MO from the 50s-80s. Yeah I was able to watch their shows on television when it was on.

CSW Midwest Championship - Triple Threat
(c)"Mr. Showtime" Darrien Sanders 6'4" 215lbs. San Diego, CA vs. Thanatos 6'2" 225lbs. Lawrence, KS vs. The Iceman 5'8" 180lbs. Chillicothe, MO - The Iceman has very short hair and wears silver and black, Thanatos has thick brown hair and wears black tights, and Sanders is the heel and wears white and black with an eerie resemblance to the WWE's Maven. Oh they're chanting "Maven" at him! HA HA! The crowd watching this looks to be a bit small, and they have the seats a bit too close to the ring with no safety barriers. The ref checks over everyone but when he gets to Sanders, he checks over the referee instead. Cute. Sanders kneels for Iceman to get him, lockup Sanders and Iceman, headlock and trip Ice. So Ice and Thanatos lockup, waistlock Ice, headlock, hammerlock, reversed, snap mare and kick Thanatos. Sanders and Thanatos lockup, armbar and kick Sanders. Ice misses a charge, superkick Thanatos, superkick Sanders, suplex Sanders on Ice, one finger cover gets one. Thanatos is outside, springboard spinning kick that catches him more with the back than the legs. Thanatos whip flying knee, another whip into a fireman's carry face breaker. Sanders goes for a powerbomb on Iceman but gets rana'ed down. DDT Iceman on Sanders gets two. Thanatos back in and kicks Sanders out, Iceman throws Thanatos out. Thanatos slams Sanders head on a table, chops, Sanders knees him, gets a chair and whacks him with it. He sets the chair down and takes a seat, Iceman does a flying body tackle on him. Is Sanders an idiot or something? Who would sit in a chair and wait for someone to tackle you in the chair like that? Iceman slugs Sanders, jams the chair in the throat. Thanatos with a springboard suicide dive on the two men. Thanatos is celebrating like a madman, gets a cookie sheet and whacks the two with it. Iceman tossed in, Thanatos slingshot legdrop gets two. Small package Iceman gets two. Clothesline Thanatos, grabs him by the legs, lifts him up and drops him down twice with his full weight on top, a crunching type of finisher but it pins him at 8:10 minutes. Wait the match isn't over? So it's elimination rules? Then why were those guys breaking up all the pin covers to this point? It's Thanatos and Sanders left in the ring and Sanders kicks away. Sanders drops the leg low but gets two. Sanders with a running shooting star misses. Thanatos slugs away, whip elbow tackle. Thanatos on the top, inverted headlock, inverted DDT on the knee from the ropes! Thanatos goes for a bow and arrow but can't hold it, so he applies a butterfly armbar. Sanders up, inverted stunner with a one foot cover gets one. Sanders suplex into a powerslam gets two. Sanders whip reverse to the corner, Thanatos kicks away, goes for a move but Sanders kicks him. PCW Heavyweight Championship
Mr. Primetime 5'11" 215lbs. Philadelphia, PA vs. Lord Byron Rouge 6'2" 240lbs. United Kingdom - This video is a bit bright. Rouge is the one who's wearing a purple cape as if he's royalty or something. MPT is in the red and green. Lockup, headlock MPT, shoveoff and shoulderblock has no effect. Headlock takedown Rouge, MPT with an armbar but we're in the ropes. Lockup, headlock shove shoulderblock Rouge. Moving on to the classic matches from World Championship Wrestling, here's a quickie from http://www.goldberg.ru on an episode of WCW Thunder in 1999. There are some other matches there but I’ve reviewed those before.

Goldberg vs. "The Cat" Ernest Miller - Cat with a superkick that spins him around, but Miller stupidly celebrates like an idiot allowing Goldberg to spear him down, jackhammer follows and it's over. Total squash.

"Last Call" Scott Hall vs. "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash - This one was held at Halloween Havoc 1998 and right in the middle of Hall's drinking problems which they turned into a big angle that made his personal problems worse and not better. At least Stone Cold Steve Austin had a more effective method of treating Hall's alcohol problems, every time he held a beer, Austin gave him a stunner. Hall throws his drink in Nash's face and kicks him outside, rams him in the rail, the post, the mike, and the camera cords. Hall gets back in as the ref checks on Nash, Hall has the mike and mocks Nash. Nash refuses a match stop and gets back in, Hall slugs Nash repeatedly, whip to the corner clothesline Hall. Another whip reversed, Nash side slam. They are slow to get up so they slug it out on their knees. Nash with a knee to the gut, then slugs him down, goes for the powerbomb but Hall flees.
