Starting off, we have matches from various places around the world but we don't know what wrestling companies held the matches.

Andre the Giant vs. Abdullah the Butcher - This match took place in Puerto Rico back in 1978, though as to who held the match we don't know. BTW, Abdullah is 40 years old at this point. Andre with a headbutt and the Butcher flees the ring. The Butcher gets back in and Andre backs his arse up and pins him in the corner. Repeated chops and headbutts from Andre in the corner. Irish whip chop Andre, he sits and chokes him on the ropes. Lockup, whip Andre, he gets chops in the face. The Butcher with a headbutt, Andre's down, choke on the mat. More headbutts on Andre, Andre stands up, choke on the ropes but Andre fires back. Abdullah chops him, Andre works him in the corner. Andre with another choke, gets close to being DQ'ed. Andre is choking him with something, a rope or something, the ref tries to break it up but has trouble. Andre with a headbutt and the action spills outside, Andre has some large board and tries to use it, Butcher blocks it and they fight among the crowd and get counted out in the process. Pretty much a brawl, no wrestling.

NO WINNER: Double countout -> 6:15 mins. ½*

Haystacks Calhoun 625lbs. Morgans Corner, AK vs. Killer Tim Brooks 250lbs. Austin, TX - Man Calhoun at 625lbs.is bigger than Yokozuna. Brooks attacks him as he's getting in and chokes him with a shirt, then chokes him with his chain. Haystacks tries to punch him off and gets up off, but he's got the chain and chases him out. Headlock punch by Haystacks, then bumps his body into him, whip to the corner, has him by the beard and punches him. Rake by Brooks, elbow to the head, he punches him repeatedly. Brooks gets mad over the chanting of "Crazy". Haystacks nails him, whip and bearbug but Brooks breaks it up with a rake. Haystacks kicks him down and sits on him. Brooks has a brace on his elbow, maybe loaded, Haystacks hides the horseshoe in his overalls. Haystacks with a whip, Brooks knees him but gets the horseshoe. Brooks slugs away, elbow, Haystacks kicks back. Ad break. Brooks has Haystacks in the corner and chokes him with a boot. Cinninati was the town for the match. Brooks is still choking him, now using a rope. Brooks continues to stomp away. Haystacks punches back, Brooks with a rake. Punch punch punch, kick kick kick. It's a slugfest, they go out on the apron, Haystacks gets knocked down on the ropes, Brooks off the ropes and drops an elbow sending him out. Ref counts ten. This one's also a brawl with no wrestling.

WINNER: Killer Tim Brooks countout -> 8:55 mins. shown ½*

Fritz Von Erich 6'6' 270lbs. Berlin, Germany vs. Yukon Eric 6'6" 280lbs. Fairbanks, AK - Fritz gets faked out and he flees the ring. Fritz won't get in the ring, Eric tries the pull him in but it gets broken up. A lot of stalling going on. Lockup in the corner, headlock Fritz, shoveoff, shoulderblock on Yukon has no effect. Fritz off the ropes and gets caught in a bearhug. Fritz pulls the hair and forces a break, now he starts kicking away. Yukon with a full-nelson but Fritz hops off the ropes to take him down. Lockup to the corner, Fritz starts slugging away, headlock shove, drop kick Fritz, kip up, splash misses. Yukon up, axe to the back, and Fritz begs off. Lockup, Fritz with a knee lift, rake, he slugs away in the corner, Yukon with a hip toss and Fritz bails. Come on already! Lockup, Fritz with a bodyscissors while hanging on the ropes and Yukon axes him in the belly. 15 minutes have passed it's announced. Yukon gets a full-nelson, Fritz kicks the ropes to break it up. Fritz goes up but Yukon moves away so he aborts his move. Lockup, Fritz slugs away in the corner, then tosses Yukon out. Fritz prevents him from getting back in, then rams him into the post on the apron. Fritz slugs away as Yukon tries to get in, Fritz with a big stomp, Yukon trips him though and slugs away in the corner. Yukon refuses to back off and slugs the ref twice and he's DQ'ed on the spot. This was a slow lengthy brawl, not a wrestling match. Yukon continues to pound on Fritz after the match. 6 minutes was clipped off, though I'd say 75% was stalling.

WINNER: Fritz Von Erich DQ -> 17:23 mins. (11:25 mins. shown) ¼*

Rake of the face, Nandor pokes him in the head with the feet, tag Wallick. Lockup, armbar Wallick, rake breaks it, choke, tag John. Geez, it's just chokes from these guys, choke on the ropes. Snap mare, stomp from John Tolos. A punch from Wallick and cover gets zero. Chris is tagged in, and he stomps away. John chokes him with the boot, LOW BLOW Wallick gets one. Both men reach their corners to tag in. Chris and Nandor are in, and Chris chokes away, the ref actually kicks Chris off. Nandor is tossed out and in the lap of the broadcaster, breaking the table. Wallick attacks John and pulls him in, Nandor snap mares the other brother in, double head ram makes the Tolos Brothers flee. The commentator apparently caught a punch. Order is restored now we have Wallick in against Chris, lockup to the ropes, John with repeated kicks to the kick while Chris forearms him in the head. Wallick is repeatedly stomped, John gets a shot in, another choke by Chris, the ref is trying hard to pull him off. Just DQ him already! Chris pulls Wallick to the outside and they slug it out on the floor. Wallick is put in, runs into a kick, tag Chris with another eye rake. Geez, where's the DQ? John is tagged in, he stomps repeatedly, Chris with a stomp from the middle rope and gets three. Strangely enough, this move had a name, the "Alley Oop". Sheesh, if this was what passed for wrestling back then and the public had the same level of knowledge on the sport back then as they do now, methinks the sport would had died a quick death. Choke and slugfest this was, it gets old, and yeah this match was 40 years old but STILL. Nandor gets a parting shot.

WINNERS: The Tolos Bros. (2-0) pin, pin -> 12:05 mins. ¼*

PWF Heavyweight Championship 2/3 Falls
(c)Playboy Buddy Rose vs. Jay Youngblood - This is from Portland Wrestling back in 1980 or so. Looking at this, I'm fuming at that guy that's ripping off Buddy Rose's name claiming to be his kid or the man himself. Jay slugs away and Rose steps out. Armbar by Rose, Jay finally lands a hit to the head, Rose yanks him down by the hair and holds that armbar on the mat. The announcer says 13 minutes are left...in a 2/3 falls match??? Jay chops his way out, kick to the gut, Rose with a rake, turnbuckle smash, chops by Rose. Rose wraps the arm around the rope and yanks. Rose goes back to the armbar, then yanks it over his shoulder. Jay slugs him to break it. Jay slugs some more, Rose with a kick that knocks him down, stomp. 6 mins. have elapsed. Jay whip clotheseline misses, shoulderblock Rose, Jay with a rollup and bridge gets a pin at 6:21 mins. Second fall, Jay with an armbar and pounds away on it. 7 mins left. Sheesh 15 minutes ain't enough for a 2/3 falls bout. Jay with a legdrop on the back of the arm. I could swear I'm hearing Baker's Street playing in the background. Jay goes outside with the armbar and yanks down off the ropes. 6 mins. left. Jay holds that armbar, then into a wristlock behind the head. Rose tosses Jay out but Jay slams Rose's arm on the post. Rose whip, rollup blocked, elbowdrop on the head. Rose shoveoff, backslide Jay gets two. Back to the armbar, 3 minutes left. Jay yanks the arm off the top rope, goes up, but gets slammed off into a small package for two. Chop floors Rose and gets two. Jay whip double chop gets two. Jay with a roundhouse punch, time's running out, one minute left. Rose bails out to stall out the last minute, if he stays out too long it will be a countout. Time's up, the ref raises Jay's hand and takes the belt away from Rose. Sandy Barr says he stalled on purpose so he's holding the belt up and it will be a rematch with no time limit. Jay says he beat him and he ran like a chicken, but he'll beat him next week. Jay is the winner, but doesn't win the title. Match just dragged on with the armbars.

WINNER: Jay Youngblood (2-1) pin, time limit draw -> 15 mins. *

And for the last two matches today, we go to the AJPW.

Lockup to the ropes, Nick with a break but Lanza chokes him with something. Choke on the top rope by Nick, lockup, Kamata is tagged in. Nick takes him to the other corner, tag Lanza, he slugs him in the head. Nick pounds away and sends Kamata outside, now it's a fight on the floor. Nick and Kamata are back in, Nick tries to slam him but can't get him up so he small packages him for two. Kamata gives Nick some vicious knees, tag Lanza, he gets kicked, tag Abby. Double whip, double punch to the chest. I think Kamata is bleeding. Choke on the apron by Abby and Kamata, Tor's biting him! Apron smash and toss in by Kamata. Flying headbutt off the bottom rope by Abby, tag Bockwinkle. Armbar by Nick, into a hammerlock and rams him in the corner. Arm wringer and he slugs away, Abby's got Nick however in a choke. Lockup, toward Butcher's corner but Nick escapes. Nick goes for the leg and gets a takedown, but now everyone's in the ring and the ref puts him out. Kamata has a chair! He whacks Bockwinkle with it, Abby drags Bockwinkle into the crowd where they slug it out, Lanza and Kamata are fighting alongside the ring and it's a double countout. Man too much of the old time stuff does not hold up to today's standards, expect for Mil Mascaras. Next time a look at matches from NWA Wildside.
