I don't have any witty comments to share this time either. The wind has been taken out of the sails and the review of this lengthy show is taking quite a bit of time to complete. Attendance was a disappointing 150, other events in town may have drew people away to do other things.

Your ring announcer is Jimmy "The Bruiser" Osbourne. Your broadcast team is myself and Jack McCloud, not Rich Wieties who is no where to be found this evening. So much for Wieties saying McCloud wouldn't be back next month.

Rip Mystic comes out for an interview first. He asks how everyone's doing tonight, he says it's a great day cause he's been cleared, and he thanks RON for it. All he did was give 80% of his paycheck to RON and he's miraclously healed. RON has a vision and plan for everyone, with RON life gives you meaning. RON comes out with a book made of duct tape and cheapest photocopier he could find. Rip thanks Jackson for kicking the crap out of him to make him see the light, it's tough love. The lights go out, a video appears on the wall, it's the Khaos Kidd dressed as the Undertaker! He says here lies the Apostle Jakob and RON will be the next one to rest in peace. Jackson was pitching a fit in a darkness. Khaos Kidd has gotten rid of Jakob for good.

First and last time I state it in a report, since pointing this out is not being desired this was edited out elsewhere. Russ Stevens has run into one of the oldest taboos in wrestling that NEEDS TO DIE. Two wrestlers, unless they are related cannot have the same or similiar last name and in some cases cannot have the same first name! So even though he still wrestles under the name Russ Stevens in his home fed of Next Generation Wrestling, he's forced to change his last name to Staley when he wrestles for NMW. I think we know Russ is in no way shape or form related to Brad Stephens. I'll just call him Russ and be done with it.

Ms. Rian Cruz speaks before the match, she's not affilated with any wrestler and it's not a joke that she's wrestling four guys tonight. Tricky Dick comes out with Peter McDonald Sanders, PMS says everyone in the ring is a freakshow and calls her a whore. She tries to slap him but Tricky Dick drags her to the ring and tosses her in. Now that's no way to treat a girl. Moore whip clothesline. Moore suplex gets two. Tricky gets in Grissoms face, chokes Rian then puts her in a rear headlock, elbow gets two. Rear chinlock Moore, legdrop gets two. Another one misses, armdrag Cruz, armdrag, hip toss, tag Freshman. Tricky doesn't want to fight Boston. Headbutt, whip shots mised, Russ whip side kick Earl. Earl double legdrop, knee slam, upside down figure four and Russ quits.

Earl taunts Rian to come in, but Moore is in and chops away. Whip reverse corner, Earl charges but misses and gets rolled up, Moore's feet on the ropes and pins him.

Now 4GQ comes out here for no reason and kills the match DEAD for the Sports Entertainment Finish at 16:35 mins. Come on, you're telling me LPC wanted no part of Boston or Ms. Cruz? Ms. Cruz didn't get much of a chance to wrestle here. Decent enough opener ruined by these guys who need to learn to wait until a match is over before doing their stupid little picketing march. This stunt did not set up a triple threat for the Central IL title however...

They beat up Freshman while Elite holds Cruz to be hit by Cherry. They dump Boston, then Michael Shard's music hits and they all turn their attention away. Shard says he's been away too long, and Smith tried to take it away from him. Shard wants Smith, Smith says Shard ain't the cornerstone and won't fight him tonight. Witchy interrupts to say she's no longer executive secterary, Shard says he didn't pay ten bucks to listen to her run her mouth. Toga Steve comes out and makes a joke between a whore and twenty bucks. Smith decides to have Mister Mister versus Shard & Toga. Shard and Toga grab chairs and run them out.

We then go to a special video tribute to Tom Arson, which is one of the extras on the Capital Punishment DVD. Somehow they found some warehouse footage for this, which I've been poking around a long time for. They get a shot of Arson in the crowd as a spectator.

Toga scissors on the neck, Elite out. Lockup, Elite armbar, hammerlock Toga, headlock. Small package Toga gets two. Tag Stan, tag Shard. Stan tries the leg takedown and can't. Stan gets a shoveoff, and Shard just dances around him. Poke Stan, tag Elite, hammerlock Shard, headlock. Armbar Elite, Shard rolls, trip gets two. Elite waistlock takedown, small package Elite gets two. OK roll Shard gets two. Tag Toga. Lockup, headlock Elite, armbar, tag Stan. A mixup and Stan is twisting the arm of Elite. Atomic drop Toga, botches the inverted atomic drop, clothesline. Headlock takedown Toga, Stan LOW BLOW, he teases Shard with a tag and shoves Toga down. Stan headlock, tag Elite, shot side, snap mare, rear chinlock. Elbow Toga, drop kick Elite gets two. Elite tries for a neckbreaker, northern lights suplex Toga. Tags, Shard clotheslines, back body drops, Cherry on the apron, slams, everyone starts slugging away, double whip clothesline Toga, full-nelson Stan on Shard blocked, belly to belly suplex Toga on Stan, Cherry on the apron again, Rian Cruz runs out and yanks her down. Guy Smith comes out to pull Cherry off, Mr. Mister do a double fisherman's suplex, Welden is no where and Stan tries counting the fall. Toga clotheslines Stan over the top in a bad bump, Elite gets dumped, Toga falls out, Shard goes up, suicide dive on three men. Everyone is slow to get up, Stan clotheslines Shard, Shard tossed in, Stan in. Elite pounds Toga, Stan whip corner, Stan full-nelson, Shard runs up the ropes and hits a top rope flatliner for the win!

Match was just way too long, slow and boring though we see a lot of chain and mat wrestling throughout with the action picking up in the last eight minutes. The length of this match happened to cause problems later. Shard and Toga pitch Stan out into Elite. Guy Smith comes back out here to complain to Mister Mister and they get into a bit of a spat.

"Rather Charming" Bradley Stephens (7-6) 6'0" 225lbs. Las Vegas, NV vs. Chris Hazard (1-0) 6'1" 235lbs. Las Vegas, NV - Poor Bradley is slipping further and further down the ranks due to his own carelessness in the ring, he's lost three in a row, threw away the Central IL title by intentionally getting himself DQ'ed, then blew his heavyweight title shot by just sitting around jawing with fans cause it takes FOREVER to execute his running elbow drop. Chris Hazard reportedly is not used to fans getting behind him, usually he wants the fans to BOO him. Lockup, waistlock throwdown Brad. Lockup, drop toe hold Brad. Lockup Hazard with a HARD takedown. Hazard drop toe hold, suplex, back body drop, drop kick sends Stephens out. Hazard chases, Brad off the ropes, clothesline Hazard gets two. Rake Brad, scoop slam, fist drop. Jumping knee, axe to the head, elbow gets two. Rope burn Hazard, turnbuckle smash, whip splash Brad. Brad whip reverse spear corner Hazard, ten punch count, snap mare, rear headlock. Brad elbows out, elbow Hazard, whip armdrag, wraps the armbar around the leg, Brad with a rake, Hazard wraps the arm around the leg and rollup for two. Brad bites him, whip crash, backbreaker. Brad suplex, chokes away, whip springboard crossbody Hazard gets two. Spinebuster Hazard gets two. Hazard whip reverse, Brad does some move that looked messed up but did damage gets two. Rear headlock Brad, side suplex Hazard. Slugfest, Hazard drop kick, he goes up, Brad bounces the ropes and flings him off. Brad says it's over, he goes up, jumps off runs across and misses the elbow by a mile. McCloud says he missed with style. Hazard side slam, whip tilt-a-whirl slam, SPEAR, Hazard is stunned, goes for another spear but Stephens bails. He grabs the mike, he screams he can't beat him, he's not worth his time cause he doesn't have a belt. Referee counts him out. Uh, Hazard JUST beat Stephens, and Stephens continues with his rather crappy judgement and throws another match away in the trash.

Sinnister (0-1) 6'1" 300lbs. Sinn City & "Soon To Be" Justin Macintyre (debut) 215lbs. Barry, Ontario, Canada w/Stephani King vs. "The Hardcore Marvels" (0-3) - "The Marvel" Shane Matthews (1-2) 6'0" 195lbs. Atlantic City, GA & Hardcore KC (2-4) 5'7" 170lbs. Kansas City, MO - Sinnister is the Next Generation Wrestling Hardcore Champion. Macintyre wants to do his own ring intro, King comes up with a camcorder. Lockup KC and Sinnister, shove Sinnister. KC with a trip and works the leg, ankle lock, Sinnister gets the rope. KC kicks him down, LOW BLOW Sinnister. Tag Justin, whip Russian leg sweep gets two. Justin whip clothesline, whip elbow. Justin whip drop kick, KC tries to slide under it but didn't work, cover gets two. Snap mare, kick back Justin. KC KICK WHAM DDT. Tag Shane, he slugs away, whip splash, whip Justin drops him on the top rope and knocks him off. Justin beats him outside, teases KC, Sinnister clothesline on the floor. Toss in, Justin slam, senton without the flip. Tag Sinnister, he pounds away, whip splash in the corner. Sinnister wears a nose ring. Tag Justin, double suplex gets two. Justin takes his belt off and whips him with it. Ref is tied up, Justin chops away, suplex blocked, Shane with the suplex gets two. Slugfest, side effect Justin. King gets on the apron, Justin whip and Shane nearly throws him into King, rollup Shane gets two. Tag Sinnister, choke on the ropes, off the ropes and sits on him. Sinnister slam, walks on Shane and knocks KC off. Sinnister whip corner, he eats a boot. Shane goes up and gets crotched, Sinnister goes up for a superplex and hits it. McCloud doesn't know a suplex from the second rope is considered a suplex. Justin jumps in and shoves the ref, McCloud says he was kissed. KC gets a tag, clotheslines Sinnister, Welden didn't see it or hear it. Justin illegal switch, he kicks Shane, uppercut, Welden doesn't do it evenly, tag Sinnister. He chops him, Shane tries to kick him away, tag McIntyre. Shane fights back, Sinnister hits his partner. Shane armbar, runs up the ropes and flying headscissor armdrag combo. KC tagged, whip back body drop on Justin, double whip on Sinnister double back body drop. Stephani jumps in the ring, KC pulls her by the hair and throws her into Sinnister. KC & Shane neckbreaker/spinebuster combo on Justin wins it. "Soon to be" DEFEATED is what Justin was.

LPC says DDF doesn't have the same ring has his initials. He has some hairbrained scheme to get the movie rights to Richard Simmons Sweating to the Oldies. Danger Doug comes on and says he failed to beat Guy Smith, so Pres. Devall gives him a second chance at revenge. He is gonna powerbomb LPC and take the title.

NMW Central IL Championship
(c)Lucious P. Cotrain (10-6) 5'10" 230lbs. Land of Lucious vs. Danger Doug Fraze (5-10-1) - LPC won the last meeting between these two a year ago. The Perfect Speciman is not with us tonight, the latest victim of the Curse of the Alpha Male. LPC whacks Doug in the back, slugfest, clothesline Fraze, BIG BOOT and LPC flees and tries to leave. Fraze goes after him, rams him in the post, the rail, 2nd post, the stairs twice, a 3rd post, another set of stairs, a chair, he throws him back in. Doug slugs LPC on the mat, whip splash. Fraze whip, flips LPC over, he kicks the knee. LPC works the leg, drop kick to the leg off the ropes gets two. Fraze kicks him off, LPC kicks at the leg, ties the leg in the rope and kicks it. LPC whip reverse clothesline Doug. Fraze slam, legdrop gets two. LPC drop kick to the knee gets two. LPC elbow gets two. LPC whip reverse clothesline Doug. Fraze whip full nelson slam. Fraze goes for a powerbomb, LPC tries a liontamer, Fraze goes for the powerbomb again, LPC out, Fraze kick, back body drop LPC. KICK WHAM STUNNER LPC gets two! Devall comes out to protest, he thinks they don't have enough challengers for the title, so he's making LPC defend the belt in a battle royal. The other members of 4GQ are barred from the main event.

Precious here is not the same person as the one who ran with Jimmy Garvin. I dunno why, but since I've been buying the NMW videos, I picked up a Gravediggers complication DVD and will be writing up a review later. Last month there was an impression made that EDS is getting a big head with these tag belts. Well perhaps he has reason to be, he's now ranked as the #3 contender to the heavyweight title one spot ahead of his tag partner Eric Logan. TNS wants to shake, they get into a shoving match, double flying headscissors, double dropkicks, EDS suicide drive, Logan suicide dive, they fight outside, TNS on posts, splashes miss. Botch tossed in, double flapjack gets two. Logan whip flying elbow, german suplex gets two. Tag EDS, double whip, double elbow, senton legdrop combo gets two. "The UNDERAchiever" Billy Morgan (9-8) 5'10" 173lbs. Riverton, IL w/PhD vs. Scotty Cash (9-10-1) 5'9" 170lbs. "Yo Momma's House" - Morgan ran in and cost the Hot Boyz their match against Mister Mister last month after he took offense to being called an underachiever, like I'm doing. PHD has messed up his leg somehow, Devall comes out and scoffs at him hanging ringside with crutches. Devall wants the crutches if PHD stays out here, or he goes to the back if he keeps them. McCloud notes win-loss records are meaningless, I note if anyone complains about "being held back" I can verify it easily. McCloud notes I have no pull, yes I have no pull but I can lobby and the fans can lobby. I haven't done an extensive search, but I've found some win-loss record keeping being done in other feds. Cash tries to lock up but Morgan just bails. Morgan gets in, then bails. Cash goes after him, Morgan tries to nail him on the way back in but misses, atomic drop, armdrag, Morgan bails again. Morgan stomps Cash out, he takes a seat. Morgan chops Cash, Cash back drop drop over the top. Cash out, pounds away on the floor, Morgan rams Cash in the stairs, throws him in the stairs, clothesline, toss in. Morgan backbreaker, elbow to the back gets two. Morgan gets a knee for two. Morgan tries a suplex, blocking, Cash gets a Falcon Arrow for two. Cash slam, legdrop gets two. Cash chokes with the leg, whip splash, knee, whip Morgan clothesline gets two. Morgan puts his feet on the ropes for two. Morgan chokes on the middle rope, Morgan charges and misses the sitdown. Cash chop, Morgan gets a choke. Legdrop Morgan gets two. Morgan whip Cash Rock Bottom gets two. Morgan whip reverse Cash forearm shot. Cash powerbomb gets two. Morgan superkick gets two. Morgan throws a fit and fetches a chair. Morgan swings and misses Cash but hits the ref. SPEAR CASH into Morgan and the chair! Cash covers him, ref ain't up, Morgan tosses the chair and kicks him. Ref wakes up, where's the DQ? Morgan goes up, Cash crotches him, Cash tries the superplex, Morgan gets Sliced Bread #2 from the top rope and steals it.

Last Man Standing
Jason Wells (6-8-1) 6'0" 230lbs. Kansas City, MO vs. "The Mississippi Madman" Don Jackson (2-1-2) 6'2" 230lbs. Olive Branch, MS w/ RON - This is the Kansas City Back Alley Brawl, which is a fancy name for the last man standing variation of the hardcore match. So, the first person to score a knockout is the winner. Last time these guys fought, it was a stinkin' DRAW. They bring out a coffin, RON looks in there, Wells jumps Jackson through crowd. Wells whacks him with libs, clothesline Wells, he tried to drop him face first. He fetches a chair and whacks him, Jackson punches the chair and pounds away. Madman whacks him with a lid, whip clothesline. Madman chokes with a chair, stomps. Madman gets a table. Wells takes out RON with a lid. Wells pounds on Jackson, ram to the post. Wells ladder shot, tosses it in. Jackson tosses Wells in, slams him, goes up for the Vadersault but can't get his footing and gets crotched, then stuck in the tree of woe. Ladder set up, baseball slide ladder shot to the face! Wells gets another table and inserts it in. Wells jams a chair to the gut, whip Madman reverse spinebuster Wells through the table. Madman gets up at nine. Wells tries a suplex but can't get him up, suplex Jackson. RON on the apron, Khaos Kidd as Undertaker pops out and yanks him inside the coffin. Madman is pissed, he pounds away, puts Wells on top, Madman goes out, CHOKESLAM THRU THE TABLE ON THE FLOOR! Ref counts him out!

WINNER: "Mississippi Madman" Don Jackson KO -> (3-1-2) 8:05 mins. **

Madman looks in the coffin, Rip Mystic pops out and SPEWS Jackson! He stomps a mudhole into Madman! Mystic goes to check on Wells, who's injured and has to have help to the back. Wells wasn't moving around too good well after the match. This happened to be the shortest match of the evening, which happened to be the result of other matches running way long. Hopefully we'll get to see this matchup happen again down the road as this was supposed to had gone on a lot longer than it did.

NMW Heavyweight Championship
(c)Sage Ramsey (13-8) 6'4" 268lbs. Peoria, IL vs. "Alpha Male" Guy Smith (18-9) 6'0" 255lbs. Rapid City, SD w/ Majorie "Witchy" Watson - I've been looking forward to this one for a while. If history is any guide, the Curse of the Alpha Male should get rid of Witchy forever after tonight. We can only hope. Lockup, they roll on the ropes. Another lockup and throwdown Sage. Another lockup, headlock Sage, shoveoff, four straight shoulderblocks Sage and Guy bails. Smith armbar, KO punch Sage. Smith hammerlock, Sage elbow, backbreaker gets two. Sage whip crash. Sage headbutt, whip clothesline missed, Guy bails. Sage goes outside, Witchy gets in his face. Guy gets in, stomps away, suplex gets two. Smith KO punch, whip eats a boot. Sage cradle suplex gets two. Sage charges and hits the post, Smith drops the knee on the shoulder, hammerlock. Sage snap mare, BIG BOOT gets two. Smith side slam gets two. Hyperextending the shoulder goes Smith. Sage fireman's carry takeover, Smith gets caught in a sideslam gets two. Sage goes for move, but gets poked, Smith drop kick caught, sharpshooter, Smith powers out. Sage whip he eats a boot. Smith goes for the moonsault, lands on his feet, chokeslam Sage gets two. Sage goes for his move, Smith goes for his, FINAL FALL SAGE WINS IT!

Bradley Stephens runs out and attacks Sage, security jumps in to pull them apart, with little success. Bradley soon does leave, but Witchy fetches the mike. Suddenly 4GQ comes out dragging Rian Cruz to the ring! Smith gets the mike and calls Devall out or he's gonna slug Rian. Devall runs out, 4GQ kick away at him. Devall spits at Smith, Guy tells him either fire us or resign. Shard runs out and gets chairshotted. Guy slugs away, Toga Steve runs out and gets chairshotted. Smith hits the little inspiration on Devall. Tuff N Stuff run out and catch Stan Sallinger ALL ALONE and try hitting him with a chair. Stan escapes and 4GQ get the heck out. Devall and company stand tall in the ring to end the show.

The Verdict: We haven't had a very long show in a long time, even the twelve match March show wasn't this long. A lot of people didn't see this show and it's a shame, cause it was a good one. Thankfully anyone can get a tape in July.
