The Rap Sheet - from the Mad Conservative
New Midwest Wrestling's Reckoning
2/26/2K5 Springfield, IL

How much more trash talk must I hear before I get to respond in kind?  Oh wait someone just did it for me.

The views expressed by Crimefighter, who believes friendly neighborhood isn't exactly fitting anymore so he's shifting over to the more fitting mad conservative crimefighter, do not necessarily reflect the views of NMW, GAW, 3CW, take your pick or the management thereof, thus I take the blame for the crap I stir up.

The month of February has been a real mess for a lot of people, just a couple days after the previous month just about everyone and their mother contracted various forms of the common cold and flu, and boy did it reek havoc.  I'm gonna have to spray Lysol through the whole American Center to kill off whatever it is in the air got me infected with something the second month in a row, and the people who contracted a lot worse illness.  Also, the lives of many changed for other reasons and this one day of the month is the escape we all needed to gain a total distraction from real life's problems.  I lend my moral support to anyone during the troubling times they're going through.

Live from the American Center, your ring announcer this evening is Real World Jeremy, your commentary team is "Outbreak" Michael Raines and "Highland Thunder" Dane McLeod.

Stan Sallinger and Mr. Elite have a little chat in the locker room, Stan thinks their tag team is done and they should just go their seperate ways, as if they've been dating or something.  Elite asks did he just DUMP me?

Well Elite comes out from the back with new music.  He asks ever had a zit on your face that you can't reach and it just gets bigger and bigger?  He calls it Stan.  And all those months, the fans were right, 4GQ stands for four guy queers.  Well Guy Smith comes out.  The commentators claim Guy has been getting handpicked matches.  Uh no.  Guy says Elite is walking on thin ice, his solution was really ending Elite's career, I yell he was the one who turned on Elite.  Guy says Elite can't beat anyone in 4GQ, and says he can't lace his boots.  Elite slugs him out of the ring.  LPC comes out, he says Elite ain't in 4GQ anymore cause he's stupid.  LPC challenges Elite to a hardcore match tonight.  Elite accepts of course.

Earlier in the day at the USA Sports Center, LPC and Spotlight talk about burgers at Wendy's.  Well RWJ judges the commonalities between cheeseburgers and Madman's mother are enough to tell Madman that LPC is talking about Mad Mama.  Madman storms over to the table, Spotlight runs off, LPC tries to beg off saying it was only about food but Madman beats the crap out of him anyway.  Mad Mama rules!

Prime Time Playa (2-1) 195lbs. Reno, NV vs. Justin MacIntyre (2-4) 215lbs. Barrie, OT, Canada w/ Stephani King - Wow, PTP has gray duct tape around his waist.  Oh that man in the red suit came in and did a cleaning job on the seats.  Raines says he's waiting for Mister Moose and f***ing ping pong balls to drop from the ceiling.  Ahem, the show is supposed to be TV-PG, not TV-MA guys.  PTP says he's wearing tape around his waist so no one pulls his pants down and exposes his rear.  He hates the people in Springfield more than the city itself.  J-Mac comes out, Steph is dressed in a pretty pink suit.  The crowd shockingly is cheering for J-Mac.  J-Mac says no one cares about PTP talking, J-Mac and Steph had a change of heart and says the fans know how to party.  No one paid to see PTP flap his gums, but they paid to see J-Mac kick his bottom.  PTP attacks, but Justin gets a poke and a big boot.  They call it the golden dragon nuclear spike, whatever.  Chops and a one foot cover get two.  Mack starts pulling off the tape but it's on there good so he uppercuts him.  Mack slam, elbows, and he takes bows.  PTP with the LOW BLOW, choke on the ropes, and the sitdown.  PTP with the legdrop gets two.  PTP running clothesline with a one foot cover gets two.  PTP with a running shoulderblock in the corner, he chops but Mack ignores it and beats "Greg Brady" in the corner.  Mack sits on a sunset flip attempt for two.  J-Mac clotheslines PTP out of the ring. The guy in the red coat sprays Lysol on the seats, Mack yanks the rope up on PTP's reentry.  BeeLee Driver by J-Mac, Jason Devall gets into an arguement with the red coat guy.  PTP whip to the corner, springboard splash, and poses in front of Steph but Mack walks up and locks in the STF to make him tap.  Well that's his own fault for being so careless!

WINNER:  Justin MacIntyre submission -> (3-4-0-1) 6:40 mins. **¼

J-Mac says he did that all by himself and turns heel again.  Gee make up your mind dude.  The guy in the red coat gets in an arguement with RWJ, Devall and Chip run over with mopheads to run him out of the building.  Sage Ramsey finds Eric Ruffington in the locker room and says he'll be having his back tonight against his hated rival Billy Morgan & PHD.  Sage wasn't able to wrestle this evening due to injuring his foot a couple weeks ago at home, he wasn't happy that this has been the first NMW he's

"Hero of the Day" Danny McKay (0-1) 165lbs. Ghetto of Beverly Hills vs. "Pocket Rocket" Eric Marx (2-0) 160lbs. New Orleans, LA - This was a late addition to the show, and a good one.  McKay had a last man standing man with Mr. Elite the previous evening, so he's pretty sore tonight.  Outbreak wants Marx to develop personalities of all the Marx Bros. plus Karl.  They do some mat and chain wrestling to start.  Some people in the crowd are being quite apathetic to it, they ain't used to seeing these guys.  Soon they start trading forearms until Marx gets the knockdown, McKay gets the clothesline, chop, Marx does a leap but gets a kick to the groin.  McKay with a kneedrop gets two.  McKay runs into a boot, Marx neckbreaker into the knee, then turns it into an inverted unprettier.  Marx teases a suicide dive, but McKay starts walking to the back, Marx to the top rope and does a flying tackle to the floor that doesn't get much of McKay but enough to knock him down.  Toss back in gets two, Marx with a suplex gets two.  McKay with a poke, whip and drop kick.  McKay picks him up by the legs and drops him face first for two.  McKay hangs Marx on the top rope for a running kick, and Marx slumps head first to the floor.  McKay works on Marx, rake on the back, McKay with double knees to the corner.  They keep calling McKay a beaver, but the fans say yellow bee.  McKay whip side elbow, legdrop, one foot cover gets two.  Marx with a rollup gets two.  McKay with a piledriver and covers using the ropes, Marx kicks out.  McKay whip to the corner, hits the double knees, tries a double stomp but Marx dodges, Marx whip reverse double crossbody takes them out.  McKay's up first, they slug away at each other.  Marx chops in the corner, forearms shot, neck snap on the ropes, springboard twisting senton.  Marx whip drop kick, back body drop, clothesline over the top.  And McKay says he's going home, this city sucks.  Oh bah, LAME.  Raines claims Marx didn't win anything.  WRONG.  McKay handed Marx a victory on a silver platter, he QUIT.  And Marx is now in contention for the CI Title while McKay is in the cellar.  Crowd just WASN'T into this match, I dunno why, they act like they've never seen these guys before (both were here last month) and I shouted down people near me yelling boring.  I liked this bout more the second time around.

WINNER:  "Pocket Rocket" Eric Marx countout -> (3-0) 14:25 mins. ***

Eric Logan is seen going into the locker room, Spotlight sneaks up behind and beats the crap out of him, jamming a chair into his gut.

NMW Tag Team Championship

(c)Maximum Impact (4-5) 369lbs. combined - Hardcore KC (2-7) Kansas City, MO & "The Marvel" Shane Matthews (2-4) Atlantic City, NJ vs. Sigma Omega Beta (2-2-0-1) 352lbs. combined Carbondale, IL - Toga Steve (8-9-1) & The Freshman Matt Boston (5-8-0-1) - Apparently someone picked up on the "can't win the big one" thing I noticed last month about Toga.  KC and Freshman incidentially have been facing off multiple times in GAW.  They shake hands to start, Shane & Toga start.  They do some grappling for a while until Toga gets the armbar, tag Boston and he hits an elbow.  But Shane twists that arm and gets the scissor on it.  Shane tries a back body drop, Freshman tries to hop behind but hits the mat so he slugs him.  Shane whip tag, KC with the spinning heel kick.  Boston goes for the monkey flip, KC on his feet, side kick gets two.  KC goes for a hip toss but Matt lands on his feet and clotheslines him down.  Tag Toga, big suplex gets two.  Toga with a side elbow, tag Boston.  Knee to knee strike gets two, Boston scissors the leg and grabs the rope.  Toga makes him let go, tag, Toga with a slam, elbow gets two.  Tag Shane, headlock takedown, shoveoff, Toga knocks him down.  Shane whip to the corner and a big splash, applies a sleeper and scissors the body but he makes the rope.  Toga tries to ram Shane in the corner but hits the post, Shane with a neckbreaker gets two.  KC tags in, Shane has Toga on the mat for KC to legdrop him for two.  Double whip and a drop kick from the champs gets two.  Shane gets caught in a German suplex though, he chains them and gets three in a row.  Boston gets a neck snap and chokes him in the corner.  Boston tags in and chokes away.  Toga in and hits the Saluki Hammer.  Toga whips Shane in the corner and he flops down before he can hit a clothesline, covers for two.  Toga hits a SCARY belly to belly suplex that had me jumping out of my seat!  Shane hit head first, SOMEHOW he kicked out at two!  Boston tags in and chokes away standing on his head on the ropes, cover gets two.  Boston is losing his cool big time, I am still worrying that Shane is injured.  Boston hits a legdrop for two.  Toga in, whip crossbody by Shane, he tries to get to KC but Toga cuts him off, Boston in, Shane hip tosses Matt and nearly falls head first with him, rollup gets two.  Boston continues with the illegal chokes, tag Toga, slam, Shane tries to fight him off but stumbles into another Boston neck snap.  Toga with a stun gun that catches Shane on the top of his head, owwwwww.  Boston with ANOTHER neck snap, KC has had enough and slingshots Boston in and kicks him down.  Shane clotheslines Toga out, KC does the stinger splash but Boston yanks Ricky the ref into his path, REF BUMP!  Shane with a suicide crossbody but MISSES Toga, getting the barrier instead.  Boston with a LOW BLOW on KC, he fetches a chair.  Toga is telling Boston to drop the chair, KC with a dropkick on Boston, knocks Toga off the apron, rollup gets three.

WINNERS and STILL CHAMPS:  Maximum Impact pin -> (5-5) 20:05 mins. ***½

This is another match I liked better the second time around, and boy is Shane Matthews lucky he didn't get a broken neck with some of the bumps he took.  Boston is quite unhappy about losing and argues with Toga.  He thinks a few times about blasting Toga with a chair but just drops it.

"Overachiever" Billy Morgan (13-11) 173lbs. Decatur, IL w/PHD vs. "Wrangler" Eric Ruffington (0-2) 215lbs. Converse, TX  - The commentary team doesn't like country music apparently.  Sage Ramsey ain't out here, hmmm.  "Outbreak" is shooting the insults at him, "Highland Thunder" keeps calling Billy the big-M little organ.  Billy's had more work done to his tattoo recently.  Morgan pretty much slaps him around, Ruff slugs away, does a belly to belly slam for two.  Back body drop by Ruff, Morgan pokes him, Ruff with a powerslam gets two.  The insults from the commentators keep flying, Ruff with a gorilla press, PHD on the apron, Billy up, hits a dropkick to the knee and works it on the apron.  Oh a toss over the stairs and right in front of me goes Ruff.  Toss in and he gets two.  Morgan with a kneebreaker across his knee, small package by Ruff gets two.  SUPERKICK by Morgan gets two!  Morgan with the Irish whip, DDT Ruff.  Ruff knocks Morgan around, tilt-a-whirl side slam, but misses a kneedrop with the damaged knee.  Morgan goes for the Texas cloverleaf, Ruff can't get the rope and gives it up.

WINNER:  Billy Morgan submission -> (14-11) 8:50 mins. **¾

PHD jumps in and chews out Ruffington, here comes Sage Ramsey, having taken Outbreak's chair.  He BLASTS Ruffington with the chair!  Oh man Morgan and Sage hug, Morgan slugs away at Ruff who's bleeding from the head and superkicks him.  SAGE FINAL FALLS James Welden!  WTF???  RWJ jumps on the apron and orders them out of the ring and calls security.  Sage's mom is irate, she's screaming in his face and SLAPS HIM!  Well Sage has been acting fully in-character at home in the couple weeks prior, and the Ramsey family are really pissed off at him for that.  It was enough to make her sick, literally all week.  Outbreak gets in Sage's face and oh he's gonna get it now.  The man who made the whole fed sick in February GETS A CHOKESLAM!!!  He had it coming...and that made Devall chew me out for taking a guilty pleasure.  Unfortunately before I could even think of subbing in the booth, Justin MacIntyre is out like a bullet to get the seat.  Now for the analysis, one wonders why Sage Ramsey would hook up with PHD who he has had no love loss for the past couple of years.  Most of his losses came from PHD cheating for whoever it is he managed against him.  His title loss was because of him.  If Sage thinks PHD will be the answer to getting him heavyweight title shots, I should point out that he has NOT been able to get Billy Morgan any rematches for the title he lost to Scotty Cash.  One gift box match for the CI title.  That's about it.  With Sage injuring his foot, it's an open question whether he'll be in the ring soon to even think about title shots.  The other problem is that he has been living the character at home, with the young kids not understanding much about wrestling they see the aunt or mom slap the son or uncle and yell why'd they do it?  Plus the fact that she thought that's what he was gonna do but told that it wasn't gonna happen didn't go over well.  The Ramsey family is in turmoil, alienating your own folks is just not a good idea, confusing the kids is even worse.  I was gonna interview Mrs. Ramsey about the matter but she contracted a serious illness early this week so it's not gonna happen, other than to say that she's shellshocked.

Mixed Tag Match
Eric Logan (13-11) 170lbs. Palm Springs, FL & Rian Cruz (1-0-0-1) 115lbs. Springfield, IL (debut) vs. "Spotlight" Spencer Powers (16-11) 175lbs. Miami, FL & Cherry Malone (1-1) 140lbs. Springfield, IL (debut) - Eric Logan has taped ribs.  Stan Sallinger is out here with them.  RWJ wonders why Stan is here, SSP takes the mike and screams bloody murder at the crowd.  Well he's had a lot more angst to deal with all month.  SSP says Cherry's contract states that she's a valet and not a wrestler.  Cherry says some insults at the other team but the commentators talk through it so I can't hear a word she says.  Guys SHUT UP I'm trying to listen!  J-Mac claims Rian Cruz has a face for radio and voice for print.  There's gotta be a countless number of guys who would strongly disagree with that statement, Rian would win just about all the diva contests if NMW had them.  Anyway, Stan Sallinger is SSP's partner tonight.

Eric Logan (13-11) 170lbs. Palm Springs, FL & Rian Cruz (1-0-0-1) 115lbs. Springfield, IL (debut) vs. Prim & Purple (debut) - "Spotlight" Spencer Powers (16-11) 175lbs. Miami, FL & Stan Sallinger (3-6) 260lbs. Hollywood, CA - SSP slugs the ribs, Logan goes to a wristlock and takedown.  Logan can't shoulderblock without hurting himself, drop kick, whip spinning heel kick gets two.  SSP with a RIB BREAKER!  Tag Stan, he slams him and drops elbows for two.  Oh the booth is cussing again.  This ain't the Opie & Anthony show guys!  SSP in, he knees Logan, forward suplex, tag Stan.  Stan tries to pull the tape off, he hits a pair of rib breakers and a fallaway slam for two.  Tag SSP, he whips him into the other corner and hits a spear.  Logan finally hits a tilt-a-whirl slam, J-Mac calls Rian's win over SSP cheap.  Tags Rian hits a drop kick to the gut, and monkey flips Stan.  She puts on a sleeper, but Stan yanks her off.  Stan with a clothesline on a girl, tag SSP and he beats on her.  He's slugging her where she had an injured rib and ROPE BURNS her!  What a MAN.  Tag Stan, slam, legdrop gets two.  Stan with a hip toss, suplex gets two.  They say this is the most action he's had with a girl in a long time.  Stan starts mocking her and just lets her have a headlock...but she hits a DIAMOND CUTTER.  Stan's a moron.  Rian tags out, hits neckbreakers and drop kicks and Stan falls out.  Logan has SSP, suplex, northern lights, gut wrench, and german...LOGANS RUN gets two!!!  SSP tries a flying headscissors but can't swing him so Logan drops and slugs him on the mat.  SSP gets the knee to the gut however, and puts on the ab stretch...Logan gives up!

WINNERS:  Prim & Purple submission -> (1-0) 12 mins. ***¼

Oh SSP slugs Rian off the apron, jerk.  He fetches some SCISSORS!  Stan's got Logan, SSP is CUTTING HIS HAIR OFF!!!  Cherry cuts some hair off!  RWJ finally steps in and breaks it up, but too little too late.  Oh crap, I thought Jeremy said "Prim & Purple" not "Pretty In Purple!"  And I sent out show results with that other name!  Oh heck with it.

Central Illinois Championship
(c)Tricky Dick Moore (7-7-0-1) 170lbs. Beaverdale, PA w/ PM Sanders vs. Michael Shard (12-14) 165lbs. Santa Monica, CA - Shard attacks Moore in the aisle as I walk over to talk to Eric Ruffington and find out his condition, he was bandaged up in front but luckily did not get cut on the back of the head like I feared.  Shard throws him in and slugs away, hits a side elbow, drop kick.  J-Mac says Shard ain't worth spit, he goes 25 minutes but J-Mac gets it done in two.  Ummm, no, LOSES in two minutes.  Tricky beats up Shard outside the ring, slam on the floor, the apron, and elbows him.  Tricky works him in the corner, Shard fires back, back body drop, powerslam gets two.  Tricky gets a poke, side slam gets two.  Tricky suplex gets one.  Justin complains about fighting either one of these guys, but his central IL belt is gonna be covering with gold and jewels as PMS chokes Shard on the apron.  Tricky with a splash in the corner, Shard spins him into the corner, Shard clothesline, snap floatover suplex gets two.  Shard charges, toss over the top and neck snap by Tricky.  He beats him outside, Tricky with a spinning neckbreaker, puts on a rear chinlock with a knee.  Shard with a flying headscissors, hurraconranna gets two.  J-Mac questions whether Tricky gave credibility to the CI title.  Shard whip to the ropes, tries to toss him in the air but ends up throwing him down face first.  Tricky gets a sleeper hold, as J-Mac changes his pick to win the bout.  Shard keeps breaking out but Tricky keeps slapping it back on, Shard hits a SICK looking German suplex dropping Moore on the back of his head.  Oh man, that was as bad as Shane Matthews' bump earlier.  So Shard hits a full nelson suplex for two.  PMS gets on the apron, Shard tries the flatliner but grabs PMS, PMS throws powder...supposedly getting Moore but the camera angle shows he missed his target, oops.  FLATLINER Shard wins it.  Well I had to lower my initial rating cause of the messups seen on tape.  Glad Shard won the title though, as it will now be Shard vs. J-Mac next month.

WINNER:  Michael Shard pin -> (13-14) 11:10 mins. ***

Tricky Dick is mad and grabs PMS by the collar, but just FIRES him instead.  PMS is livid and makes gestures at the crowd.  Oh boy, even the former Drive Thru Red walked up and shot him an insult.  I hope this is not the last we see of PMS, otherwise the fan club will be livid.

Hardcore Match
Mr. Elite (2-3-0-1) 220lbs. Minnepolis, MN vs. Lucious P. Cotrain (11-10) 5'10" 230lbs. "Land of Lucious" - Man that ring canvas is a mess with the blood and powder stains.  RWJ makes a Mad Mama comment that scares LPC.  Well I can say Elite is warmed up to this kind of match having fought Danny McKay in such a match last night.  Elite rolls a shopping cart filled with weapons.  LPC misses the lidshot but Elite STOPS him, with a sign.  Elite works him in the corner, jams a wheel on a stick into his crotch.  CRUTCHSHOT!  TRAYSHOT!  Elite with a suplex, elbow into the tray.  Elite pushes LPC outside, he gets a chair, drops it!  LPC pops Elite with the tray, he fetches the BUMP sign!  Elite nails LPC, Elite sets up two chairs with the BUMP in the middle, LPC catches him with a spinebuster thru the sign for two.  LPC with a pool stick shot, puts the tray on Elite's face and drops an elbow.  He pulls Elite outside, but he slugs him, belly to belly on the floor!  Oh Elite brings the cart over and RAMS LPC THROUGH IT!  Elite STOMPS LPC inside the cart!  He puts LPC in, puts a DO NOT ENTER sign on his back, DOUBLE LEGDROP!  Elite sets up a chair, LPC reverses the whip and drop toe holds him into the chair!  "We want blood" chant rings out, as J-Mac says the 43 tickets he sold this month were sold on wrestling, not blood.  Elite puts LPC in the tree of woe, puts a chair on his face, then piles the signs and another chair, sliding drop kick!  That was interesting.  Elite chairshot, fisherman's suplex gets two.  LPC is now bleeding, but he comes to life and slams Elite on the STOP sign.  LPC tries to climb but Elite goes up with him, rear chinlock and he yanks him backward for two.  Stan Sallinger is in the ring, full nelson but Elite LOW BLOW, CHAIRSHOT on Stan!  Side suplex Elite, he puts on the Texas Cloverleaf and LPC quits!  J-Mac wonders what Elite got out of this match, he thinks he gained not much of anything.  I beg to differ.  Hardcore bout was quite average compared to prior ones.

WINNER:  Mr. Elite submission -> (3-3-0-1) 13:50 mins. **½

NMW Heavyweight Championship

(c)Guy Smith 10-32 (26-12) 250lbs. Rapid City, SD w/ Cherry Malone vs. Mississippi Madman (6-3-2) 375lbs. Olive Branch, MS - Guy tries pounding on the body but gets clubbed down.  He tries again but gets slammed.  Jackson throws Smith around, then goes to the bearhug.  Smith tries to slug his way out but gets slammed.  Whip to the corner, Smith pulls Ricky into Madman's path and he gets half flattened.  You'd think he'd had learned from earlier tonight not to do that.  Smith has a CHAIN and chokes him out with it.  Brent the ref runs in and counts two.  Smith with a dropkick gets two.  Smith with a back elbow off the second rope gets two as the "All Female" chant rings out.  The EMTs are putting Ricky on a board, and quite overdoing it for the not so great hit he took.  Smith with an axe to the head gets two.  Smith tries a sleeper but Madman backs in the corner.  Madman charges but eats a boot, then GROWLS at Smith to scare him out.  And Guy Smith is LEAVING!  Crowd chants "Who's House?"  Madman chants "My House!"  Ref counts him out?  Oh bah!

WINNER:  Mississippi Madman countout -> (7-3-2) 7:40 mins.

RWJ waves it off, Smith ain't gonna just walk out of the match tonight so get back in or you're stripped.  J-Mac says he's biased as heck and he cannot strip people of belts.  Match restart, as J-Mac says he's #1 contender according to NMW, not Crimefighter, screw him and his rankings.  Ha ha ha, shut up.  Madman attacks, side slam, BIG SPLASH and Cherry's on the apron.  RWJ tries to pull her down, Smith sneaks out of the ring, Madman grabs Cherry, CHAIRSHOT Smith and it's over again.  Barf!

WINNER:  Mississippi Madman DQ -> (7-3-2) 9:05 mins.

Madman calls Smith a coward and demands him back in the ring so he can win the title.  RWJ calls for Brent to ring the bell...my name ain't Brent.  Madman slugs him around, and Smith goes under the ring and grabs a turnbuckle adjuster.  Smith shoves Brent down, Madman FIFTH FLOOR CHOKESLAM, RWJ jumps in and counts it.  Brent jumps up and says no, DQ for shoving the ref.  Crowd chants BS at the real sports entertainment finish at...

WINNER:  Mississippi Madman DQ -> (7-3-2) 9:55 mins. *

Madman takes offense and CHOKESLAMS HIM!  BIG SPLASH on Brent...well that's the third ref destroyed tonight.  I know I wouldn't want to be a ref.  Crowd chants for five more minutes, uh there was no time limit here.  RWJ incorrectly says Guy Smith is the winner as Smith was the one who shoved him down.  Madman is throwing a tantrum.  The commentary team signs off, but oh look at this, Devall gets into an arguement with Madman.  Now RWJ gets into an arguement with Devall, and they get into a shoving match.  Alas the audio is off but Devall goes into full British accent mode.  Jeremy slugs Devall, Devall says he only gets ONE, the next time he's FIRED!  And the crowd has turned totally against Devall.  Oh boy, what an ugly scene, and they just may have pushed him to going back to being Bing Westlake.  Devall kicks a bunch of chairs on his way out.  Really overbooked main event, when Smith is on, he's on.  When he half-arses it, he half-arses it.  Match is most likely gonna be resigned in April as the main event for First Blood, I'm expecting it's gonna be RWJ vs. Devall pretty soon as their comeback match.

The Verdict:  Well the main event was kind of a let down to cap off a show that really wasn't gonna outdo the stellar New Years Resolution, and somehow I believe the lowered expectations led some fans to think they wouldn't miss anything to skip this show and watch Gallager or something.  Match of the night honors goes to Max Impact vs. SOB.  Some of the shockers tonight stood out more than the bouts themselves.  I have to admit though, they used six items of my suggested card list, that's only the second time I remember that happening.

Thumbs leaning up.
