Toryomon out of Japan

Dragon Kid vs. Darkness Dragon

----------------

Leading off, these bouts are from http://www.wxwwrestling.com. And we have a WWE vs. NWA-TNA match! Before Gail Kim entered the WWE, she was known as Felina. Lets see if she wrestled better in WXW back then and find out if it's just the WWE's crappy booking that's making her look bad. Bit rate is 150K.

"Felina" Gail Kim vs. Tracy Brooks - Brooks is from the NWA-TNA roster. Lockup, headlock Brooks, scissors Gail, springboard headlock takedown Brooks, Gail rolls her for two, arm wringer Brooks. Armbar flip takedown by Brooks, Gail with a knee and armbar, steps over and hits the showstopper. Gail takes her arm over the top rope and yanks down on it to the floor, then a neck snap, choke on the mat. Gail has the armbar, Brooks tries to do a flip out of it using the ropes, can't get over and Gail just yanks her down by the hair. Gail hits a flying arm drag from the top rope getting two. Brooks with a monkey flip getting two. Gail with the wheelbarrow, and gets gutwrenched suplex. Chops are traded off, Gail with the wheelbarrow into an armdrag, she goes up, Brooks slams her off. Whip reverse, Gail crashes into the corner, Tracy with the spear and wins it. Guess Gail Kim wasn't that much better, but she didn't blow any spots.

WINNER: Tracy Brooks pin -> 4:55 mins. *½

Bodacious Pretty Boy 183lbs. San Franciso, CA vs. Supreme Lee Great 201lbs. Yorktown, PA - The pretty boy is wearing a boa and glitter tights, which apparently was stolen from Great. Great attacks BPB before the bell, clobbering him in the corner. Great locks the arms around his neck and snap mares him over the shoulder, then a death valley driver gets two. Charging forearm to the corner by Great, BPB does a grope to back him off, then a takedown, tries a submission move but goes for a cover getting one, springboard moonsault misses. Great with a whip and clothesline, full nelson suplex gets three for the squash.

WINNER: Supreme Lee Great pin -> 1:40 mins. ½*

Jason Doughterty 240lbs. Frankville, PA vs. Malachi 270lbs. Gatalin, NB - Geez, Malachi looks like the old-school Undertaker or something. Nah, he looks like Angry Amish Roadkill. Malachi tries a sneak attack but gets hung on the top rope, Doughtery clobbers him in the corner, whip but he eats a book, Malachi with the clothesline, stomps away, elbow, punch, whip elbow gets one. Doughtery fires back but gets nailed with a flatliner for two. Malachi off the ropes with an elbow gets two. Knockout punch by Malachi, whip back body drop attempt is foiled with a swinging neckbreaker by Doughtery. Face slam by Doughtery, repeated elbow drops across the back gets two. Doughtery whip spinebuster gets two. Doughtery slugs away in the corner, whip charge gets the post, Malachi with the "Holy Ghost" where he lifts him up in a side backbreaker rack, then flings him down with a 180 flip so he lands back first on the mat and that gets the victory.

WINNER: Malachi pin -> 3:15 mins. *

WXW Tag Team Championship
(c)Clowns of Chaos 575lbs. Downtown, USA - Moondog Molson & Big Poppa Pete w/ Crappy the Clown vs. The Hollywood Studs 516lbs. Hollywood, CA - Xtreme Billy Dream & "The Star" Eric Cobian - Moondog Molson I don't believe has any connection with the recently disbanded WWF's and Memphis-area Moondogs following the death of Spot. Cobian and Pete start the match. Cobian slugs away, whip flying clothesline, big slam, flying elbow, tag Dream. Double whip, double shoulderblock, double elbow gets one. Dream chops him, tag Cobian, atomic drop Dream, clothesline Cobian gets two. Tag Dream, double superplex gets one before its broken up. Dream with a chop, whip big boot. RUDE AWAKENING Dream, tag Cobian. Cobian whip reversed, knee by Molson, clothesline Pete, tag Molson. Molson stomps and chokes away. Slam Molson, tag Pete, gorilla press splash gets two. Armbar Pete, he punches away, tag Molson who yanks the arm over his shoulder. Dream tries to help but the ref puts him out, he comes again and Molson throws him out. Cobian is whipped, elbow by Pete gets two. Butterfly suplex by Pete, tag Molson, he goes up, senton misses! Tag Pete, tag Dream, clotheslines Dream, whip tilt-a-whirl slam Dream, Molson nails Dream, doubleteam in the corner, Cobian pulls Pete off, fight in each corner, double whip and the clowns crash into each other. Dream with the fameasser! Cobian puts Pete across his knee for Dream to hit a guillotine leg drop getting two before Molson slugs the ref for the cheapo lameo DQ to save their belts.

WINNERS: The Hollywood Studs DQ -> 6:55 mins. **

That's it for the WXW offerings, now jumping over to a new offering from the GIWA on http://www.madmacdavis.com.

Mad Mac Davis vs. Dragon del Fuego w/ The Professor, Oko Nono, Lo Han - Oko Nono curses like a drunken sailor, when this guy came to America he didn't learn English, he only learned slang. The professor is running his mouth, telling Davis if he's gonna get a match against Nono he has to beat the Dragon in a lumberjack match, where the heels are the lumberjacks. Oh boy that doesn't bode too well. The whole Axis of Evil crew clobber Davis until they turn their backs and Davis clotheslines them down then nails Fuego. Nono gets in Davis's face and Dragon low blows him. He stomps away, whip hip toss, slam, leg drop gets two. Dragon chops Davis in the corner, Davis fires back, whip elbow. Dragon with a knee and some clubbing, then tosses Davis out. Nono kicks like mad on the floor, then drops a leg. Dragon goes out and tosses Davis in, a chair was set up in the ring, Davis is set in the chair, flying heel kick by Dragon on the sitting Davis. Suplex Dragon gets two. He argues with the ref and Davis rolls him for two before Nono yanks him off. Fuego gets the camel clutch but drops it. Dragon whip reverse spear by Davis. Davis tries to Juvy Driver Dragon on a chair but Nono steals it and breaks up a cover. No DQ?? Nono's beating the crap out of Davis and puts handcuffs on him, then drops the leg repeatedly. The Axis bring a table in the ring, put Davis on it, Dragon up top, Davis rolls the table over and Dragon misses the senton. Dragon puts the table back up, puts Davis on it, Dragon does the senton off the top again but misses Davis and bounces off the table, not breaking it. Davis rolls on top of him and wins it.

WINNER: Mad Mac Davis pin -> 7:45 mins. *½

Oh but it's not over the Axis continue to beat on Davis while Lo Han puts the table in the corner. Davis is thrown through the table while Davis's teammates rush out from the back and the Axis run off like complete wusses. This was the typical sports entertainment crap I get from Eric Bischoff, Paul Heyman or Vince McMahon putting one man against a dozen heels.

Moving on, I happened to find a site featuring some videos from Japan, so let's go to New Japan Pro Wrestling. This originated from www.xiwmediainc.com, but I had downloaded it from another site http://www.wrestlingchaos.co.uk.

Exploding Barbed Wire Match
"The Great Muta" Keiji Mutoh 6'1" 245lbs. Yamanishi, Japan vs. "The Great Nita" Atsushi Onita 6'0" 242lbs. ???, Japan - Well Great Nita is said to be a parody of Great Muta and these guys don't care for each other. That's one scary mask Muta came out wearing. The ring's got barbed wire strung out all over, ugh. This is gonna be gory. Nita attacks Muta right away, with a SICKLE!!! What the heck??? Knives like that are allowed to be used in a match??? Who the heck sanctioned that??? He stabs Muta in the back a few times, drops the sickle and throws Muta against the ropes, setting off some explosive devices. Nita grabs the sickle again, stabs Muta and does a DDT. Cover only gets one, Muta gets the outfit off, Nita cuts his head with the sickle. Nita goes to toss Muta into the ropes but Muta slides under. Nita chokes him with a chain, then stabs him with the sickle, tries another shot but gets the mist in the eyes. Muta wraps the sickle with the chain and nails Nita. Muta with an elbow. Muta swings that thing wildly then chokes him with the chain on the mouth. Shockingly I don't see stab wounds on Muta's back, that outfit must had been armor. Nita stands up and mist's Muta, then dances around like an idiot. Nita swings the sickle then hits a DDT getting two. Nita headbutts, dances some more, Muta throws Nita into the barbed wire and BANG! Muta's got the sickle again, and hits him in the head. Muta stomps away, slowly. Why'd these guys wear white? Nita tries to roll outside, then realizes there's bombs out there. Muta tries to kick him out, Nita THROWS A FIREBALL AT MUTA!!! Nita walks to a corner, slaps a police light that's on top, goes to another corner, and pushes a button and there's a police siren blaring. What's THAT about? Powerbomb Nita gets two. Nita with a DDT and he's got that sickle again, he hits Muta with it, Muta mists him again. Some sort of countdown is going on and Muta kicks at Nita and all the ringside bombs go off. Nita slowly climbs back in the ring, Muta whacks him with the sickle, cover gets two. Muta tries to throw a fireball but it burns up in his hand before he can throw it. Muta with a kick and hurls Nita into the barbed wire and BANG!!! Muta with a cover and gets two. Muta nails Nita with the sickle again and pins him. End was a bit anticlimactic, considering he kicked out after taking an explosion seconds ago. Watching this match, it appears that the wrestlers never did stab each other with the sickle, but used the point of the handle and the non-bladed edge of the weapon. There was hardly any wrestling at all in this match but surprising that this wasn't a bloodletting I thought it was gonna be, and probably best that it wasn't. This was the first time I've seen a match like this, and wonder why people would subject themselves to such injury.

WINNER: The Great Muta pin -> 13:35 mins. *

IWGP Heavyweight Championship

(c)The Great Muta vs. Hiroshi Hase - 2:00 This match is from December of 1992 and Muta at this point is the International Wrestling Grand Prix heavyweight champ, defending on a NJPW show. He's sporting red facepaint tonight. Long staredown, then Muta spews the mist in the air but Hase dropkicks him down. Hase with two clotheslines, then a form of the Rock Bottom. Muta goes outside, Hase gets a table and rams Muta's head into it, toss into the rail, Hase throws him back in. Hase up top, bionic elbow. Hase with some chops, gutwrench stomach breaker, then drops him on the top rope. Armbar Hase, Muta fires several shots to knock him down. Headlock shoveoff, Muta spin kicks him down then applies a half crab. Muta ties up the legs for an inverted Indian deathlock, then drops back on it hard, then applies the sickle hold! Hase though grabs at Muta's face and forces him to release it, gouges the eyes, then wipes his boots on his face. Well that got all the paint off Muta's face. Hase with a Rude Awakening neckbreaker gets two. Muta stalls outside and Hase lays down inviting Muta to come back in. Muta's looking for something under the ring, gets in, Hase with a twisting vertical suplex gets one. Hase tries it again but Muta slugs him then tosses him out. Hase gets posted, then sent into the rail. Muta off the top with a chop, then throws Hase outside again. Muta pulls the mat up and bulldogs Hase on the concrete floor. Muta snap mare, elbow. Hase with a chop, Muta lifts him up and crotches him on the top rope. Where's the DQ? Muta does it again on the rail, though the back of the thigh takes all the damage. Muta on top, Hase catches him, superplex Hase. German suplex Hase gets two. Hase with a rope burn on Muta, does it a second time. Hase whip drop kick gets nothing but air. Muta goes out and throws a chair at Hase in the ring. Hase fights with the ref over the chair, Muta kicks him and whacks Hase with it. Rib breaker by Muta, he goes up, Hase pushes him off. Hase charges and clotheslines Muta off the apron. Muta pull what looks like a knife from under the ring, throws a chair in, Hase takes it from the ref, Muta comes in, Hase take the pointed object away from him and stabs Muta in the head with it! It's a METAL STAKE! Hase uses it on Muta's head, Muta's pouring blood, sick. Hase bites at it like a cannibal. Great, this is what I was afraid of seeing in the previous match. Hase tears up Muta's head. Muta whip handspring elbow missed. Hase with a piledriver, then bites some more. Why wasn't this match stopped once the stake was used? Hase fireman's carry and drops him on the top rope. Hase whip sleeper hold. The ref breaks it up cause it's a choke hold. Hase with some running kicks to the head, then puts on the sharpshooter. Muta pushes up and gets to the ropes. Hase with another running kick to the head but Muta refuses to go down. Muta with a pair of side suplexes, then a third, and a fourth. This match is literally making me ill. I'm about ready to skip to the end cause of the blood. Muta with a slam, runs up the ropes for a moonsault and GETS NOTHING! Hase with Rock Bottom gets two. Hase powerbomb gets two. Hase is very slow to follow up here, he goes for the Rock Bottom again and Muta puts him in the full-nelson suplex for two. Muta's trying to get the crowd behind him, Muta with the full-nelson suplex again gets two. Muta rib breaker, to the top moonsault hits and it's mercifully over with a pin. Masa Chono enters the ring with his NJPW Heavyweight Title and lays a challenge on Muta right there. Muta wisely leaves as he needs a doctor. I can't rate this one too highly as it was making me sick looking at Muta bleed so badly.

WINNER and STILL CHAMP: The Great Muta pin -> 23:05 mins. **

All right, I'm gonna put in as the last match of this sheet a bout from Toryomon.

Dragon Kid 5'9" 154lbs. Toukai-shi, Aichi, Japan vs. Darkness Dragon 5'9" 183lbs. Nerima-ku, Tokyo, Japan - Darkness Dragon is now known as K-ness. Dragon Kid wrestled in WCW as the Little Dragon. Date of this match was back on 11/6/2001. Lockup to the corner, Kid kicks away and pounds him in the corner. K-ness with a kick, elbows, slam, elbowdrop, rope burn. Headlock K-ness, shoveoff, shoulderblock. K-ness whip, wheelbarrow armdrag Kid, K-ness armdrag, Kid arm drag, flying headscissors Kid. Kid arm wringer, K-ness enzuigiri, brainbuster gets two. K-ness scoop slam, drops a leg LOW, half crab then a full Boston Crab. Kid makes the ropes though, chop K-ness, snap mare and rakes through the mask. K-ness whip elbow to the throat gets two. Camel clutch by K-ness, and he actually leans all the way back on the mat, changing it into a sort of bow and arrow. K-ness lets go, whip back splash in the corner. K-ness whip eats the boots, Dragon Kid with a flying headscissors making two revolutions around the body. Dragon Kid with a suicide springboard moonsault on K-ness to the floor. Dragon Kid with a big jawbreaker gets two. Kid whip K-ness tries the enzuigiri and misses, Kid tries something but K-ness kicks him in the back of the head. K-ness with a suplex but Dragon Kid reverses it on the way down into a jawbreaker! Dragon Kid with a flying headscissors into a DDT! Dragon Kid goes up, but someone runs out to interfere in the match and yanks him off to the floor! Oh it's Susumu Mochizuki, he's beating him on the outside, and Masaaki Mochizuki is also taking shots at him. Susumu tries to throw Kid into the post but Kid whips him into it instead. Kid makes it back in at the count of 19. WHERE'S THE DQ??? Kid runs into a ROCK BOTTOM by K-ness but that gets two. K-ness whip splash missed, Kid does a flying headscissors but locks on a submission hold I've never seen before, he's holding the scissors of the head while using both arms to pull on the right arm. Susumu jumps in the ring to break it up with the ref distracted. Susumu puts Dragon Kid on his shoulder for K-ness to leg drop him off the top. Cover only got two though. A problem with the video file forces me to jump ahead, K-ness has Kid in a sunset flip position that got two. K-ness pickup, slam is botched, hurraconranna Kid gets two. Susumu is back in, ref is yanked out, decapitator clothesline from both men, Dragon Kid is put in a position to be powerbombed off the top rope but Kid hurranconrannas him off. K-ness goes for the cover and the ref STILL doesn't call for a DQ and counts two. What is this? No-DQ? Small package Dragon Kid gets two. Rollup K-ness gets two. Slugfest in the ring, Kid whip drop toe hold, OK Roll gets two reversal gets two. The ref counts both men, K-ness with a side suplex gets two. K-ness tries for a scoop slam but the bell rings and it's a time limit draw??? 12:30 was the length of time I could view the match but the video file had an error in it so I'm guessing a couple minutes were lost when the program making the video file screwed up. I'm gonna say the time limit was actually 15 minutes long.

NO WINNER: TIME LIMIT DRAW -> 15:00 mins. ***

Boy I didn't come up with much this time around. Next time it's back to clickwrestle.com and there's a bunch of new stuff that's been posted there that's gonna take me some considerable time to go through and rate. Until then, bustin' ain't easy!
